On Thursday, September 23rd , Dana Bensinger, OCF Executive Director, and Karin Beyer, OCF Director of Community Philanthropy, were guests at the Kiwanis Club of Gaylord awards dinner. That evening the OCF received the first ever Community Enrichment Award from the Kiwanis Club of Gaylord for our exceptional service to the community.
“The Otsego Community Foundation received this award as the Foundation truly embodies the award name. The Foundation brings together community partners and finds community needs so they can work together to meet those needs. Facilitating what community needs exist and who can fulfill them in the most productive manner is truly what the Foundation does best. ” stated Judi Doan, Kiwanis of Gaylord President.
“It was a real honor and a reminder we are not alone in this journey to strengthen our community. Kiwanis is a great community partner as they have an endowment at the OCF as well participate in the Community Grant Program. ” noted Dana Bensinger.
Thank you, Kiwanis Club of Gaylord, for this award.
