The OCF manages twelve scholarships that are available to high school seniors from Johannesburg-Lewiston, Gaylord, Vanderbilt, and St. Mary’s high schools. Scholarships range from $500-$1,500 and cover different areas of interest, including agriculture, healthcare, education, and trades. The number of scholarships the OCF offers reflects the generous nature of our community and its dedication to education. To date, the OCF has awarded $256,664.00 in scholarships to Otsego County students.
Amanda Sosa, Director of Donor Services, who runs the OCF Scholarship Program, states, “I am immensely grateful for the incredible opportunity to connect students with donors through our scholarship program at the OCF! It’s a heartwarming experience that goes beyond supporting educational aspirations; it creates a profound sense of gratitude and community.”
